They say it's your birthday....

We're gonna have a good time
I'm glad it's your birthday
Happy birthday to you.

Yes we're going to a party party....

My kids are invited to the Pope's birthday party...at a friend's house. My son asked why we couldn't go to the Pope's house for his birthday. Now that would be a cool party.

Then, after racing home from all that revelry, it's girls' night out. And, boy do I need it!

I'm ready, Swissy! Watch out, world! We'll have to lift a glass in the Holy Father's honor. Maybe I'll have a big piece of the German Chocolate cake on his behalf as well!

The cake we had was really brownies and cow chip mint ice cream. Just got home and my kids are exhausted. They ran around like animals! We said a decade of the rosary for the Pope and sang Happy Birthday. Too bad he was busy at the White House.

Cool! My favorite cake when I was tiny was a mint chocolate chip ice cream cake.

The Holy Father's on live now (EWTN), at a prayer service at the crypt in the National Shrine.
